Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

As Alfu Technologies ("the Company", "we"), acting as data controller under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), we would like to inform you about how your personal data is processed.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed by Alfu Technologies as the data controller, within the scope and for the purposes described in this notice. For any questions or requests, you can reach us at info@alfu.tech.

2. Personal Data We Process

  • Identity data (first name, last name)
  • Contact data (email address, phone, company/organization)
  • Request and message content (information you submit via the contact form)
  • Transaction security and digital trace data (IP address, cookie and log records)
  • Website usage and analytics data

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Evaluating and responding to your requests and inquiries
  • Delivering our services and establishing contractual relationships
  • Carrying out communication activities
  • Fulfilling our legal obligations
  • Conducting information security processes and improving our website
  • Marketing and promotional activities, where your explicit consent exists

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK: that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract, the fulfilment of our legal obligations, our legitimate interests provided that your fundamental rights and freedoms are not harmed, and your explicit consent where required.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared, only to the extent necessary and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, with our hosting and infrastructure service providers located in Turkey and/or abroad in order to provide our services. As our website is hosted on infrastructure providers with servers located abroad, your data may be transferred abroad. It may also be transferred to legally authorized public institutions upon request, within the framework of the applicable legislation.

6. Method of Data Collection

Your personal data is collected through contact forms on our website, email correspondence, and cookies, by automated and partially automated means.

7. Retention Period

Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed and for the statutory retention periods stipulated in the relevant legislation; at the end of these periods it is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

8. Your Rights as a Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is being processed
  • Request information if it has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
  • Know the third parties to whom data is transferred, domestically or abroad
  • Request correction if processed incompletely or inaccurately
  • Request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in the KVKK
  • Request that correction, deletion, and destruction be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred
  • Object to a result against you arising from analysis solely by automated systems
  • Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
